Definitely learned a lot more about the energy system this week and also going back to components of fitness brang back a lot of memories of when I learnt it in whanu ora and basically just was able to revisit it. After the workout we did on Wednesday (circuit training), really felt good after it but also disappointed on how I did during the workout and hope that next time I would push myself more by not listening to brain and just pushing and pushing myself to the limit.

Today we had a go using the Coaches Eye app. The app is too help see different forms from each workout. With the tools from the app we can explain how one video is done wrong and how the other is done right.

Mike’s word of wisdom
Being comfortable when you bleed in training bleeding in a battle wont be a problem for you.
If you do sweat more in training then when you do get punched in the mouth by something then you can still maintain that plan going forwards.
What you can control in that dark place is breathing. It will control your mind. It’s a reset for your mind.
When your body goes flight or freeze your body powers down. Your heart rates goes up and your cordesal. Your mind decides that you are stressed and you wont be able to take that in basically leading your body to stop there.
If you do decide to pick fight then instead of your blood going to your heart it would pump it into your muscles and get you ready for battle.

This breathing technique would help your body reset to its normal state and then stop it from going into flight or freeze where your body shuts down.
What can I control in this situation? Was I dumb and go head first in?
Lactose. After doing lactose workout sitting down will be like orange juice with pulp in it. It sinks. Walking around or at least just standing up will help it keep around. Making sure during the lactic test you aren’t using all your power to do smaller rows. Instead like in a race do longer rows/steps to help be more productive
